“I was so impressed with the children of the class,” said Daphne Muehle, an association member whose Peninsula Open Space Trust was selected in May for a $900 grant from the youngsters.
Since the project began three years ago, day school students have collected and distributed $84,000, according to Sue Schwartzman, coordinator of the philanthropy project at the school.
