Loving mother of Bette Spinrad (Hyron), Philip Abrams (Joan), Elaine Harris (Mike) and the late Ronald Abrams (Rosalyn). Beloved grandmother of Michael (Caroline), Robert and Tracy (Grant Shapiro) Spinrad; Jason (Anne) and Emily (Bill Schlepper) Abrams; Alan, Robyn and Marc Harris, Karla and Aaron Abrams and great-grandmother of nine. A devoted sister, sister-in-law and aunt. A long-time San Mateo resident and founding member of Peninsula Temple Beth El, age 96 years. In her earlier years she worked alongside her husband in their family business, Abrams Formal Attire. Funeral Services were Friday, May 6 at 10:00 A.M. at Peninsula Temple Beth El, 1700 Alameda de las Pulgas, San Mateo. Interment following in Hills of Eternity Memorial Park. Pinto, Erna. In San Francisco on May 3, 2005 at age 82. Beloved wife of the late Erich Pinto; loving mother of Ellen (Scott) Page and Beverly Pinto (Elliot Levin), proud Oma of Eric Page, Sammy Pinto, Jeremy and Brian Levin. Dear sister of Fred (Evelyn) Heilbronn, Gunther (Inge) Frank, Hella Weiss and the late Philipp Heilbronn. Loving aunt, cousin and friend to many. Erna was a Holocaust survivor of Westerbork. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 5th at Sinai Memorial Chapel, 1501 Divisadero St., at Geary. Scheuer, Leonore “Libby.” In San Francisco on May 5th 2005 at age 88. Dearly beloved wife of the late Manfred Scheuer; loving mother of Mark L. (Janet) Scheuer and the late Robert S. Scheuer; beloved sister of Ruth Smiley and the late Martin Winslow; loving niece of Faye Kahn. Libby is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins and was a native of Brooklyn, New York and a lifetime member of Hadassah and ORT. Services were held at Home of Peace Cemetery Chapel, 1299 El Camino Real in Colma followed by interment.
