Green energy innovations in Israel will be the topic of a daylong conference in Stanford next month.

The “Israel Cleantech Conference,” sponsored by the California Israel Chamber of Commerce, is set for 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 11 at Stanford University.

Leading scientific researchers from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Ben-Gurion and Tel Aviv Universities, as well as officials from some of Israel’s innovative “green” companies, will be represented at panels and presentations. Alexander Karsner, a former U.S. Department of Energy, will be keynote speaker.

Admission is free for CICC members. For nonmembers, tickets purchased by Oct. 15 are $75, $125 after Oct. 15 and $175 at the door. For more information, contact Iris Blich at [email protected] or (408) 343-0917.
