So why indeed is this night different from all other nights?

That, of course, is the prototypical question regarding Passover, but given the complexity of the holiday and its preparations and observance, there are countless other questions that even the most learned Jews might have.

In response, once again this year O.U. Kosher will present a “Question and Answer Webcast for All Your Passover Inquiries,” on March 24 at 11 a.m.

The questions will be answered by the O.U.’s two halachic poskim (decisors), Rabbi Yisroel Belsky and Rabbi Hershel Schachter. In the past six months, they also were the experts on a “Kashrut in the Workplace” Webcast and a “Kosher Home, Sweet Home Part II” program.

“The Webcast, coming a bit more than two weeks before [Passover], will provide ample time for men and women to ask the questions they need to prepare for the holiday and to observe its eight days properly,” said Rabbi Eliyahu Safran, senior rabbinic coordinator at O.U. Kosher.

Safran said that the Belsky and Schachter Webcasts are part of O.U. Kosher’s continuing and ever-growing educational outreach to the community, which includes the “OU Kosher Coming to Schools and Communities” program and O.U. Kosher educational DVDs.
