Holocaust survivor Maria Segal and Dr. Ursula Mahlendorf, a former member of the Hitler Youth (a paramilitary organization of the Nazi Party), will come together in conversation 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Feb. 20 at Kehilla Community Synagogue, 1300 Grand Ave., Piedmont.

Sponsored by the Middle East Peace Committee, the event will provide a platform for the women to share their life stories, including their chance meeting through the Portraits of Survival project at the Jewish Federation of Greater Santa Barbara. A Q&A session will follow.

The event costs $10-$15, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. For more information, contact Judith Gussmann at (510) 849-1492 or [email protected].
