To celebrate its 160th anniversary, the S.F.-based Jewish Family and Children’s Services will host its gala event, “160 Years and Still Pioneering,” on March 20 at the Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco.

The event will begin with a cocktail reception at 6:30 p.m. Dinner, a silent auction and dancing, with music by Pamela Rose and Sidepocket, will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Also on the menu is the presentation of the Fammy Awards, which honor community members and JFCS volunteers.

Gala tickets are $360 each, with proceeds benefiting children, families and the elderly in crisis. Tickets for those 35 and under are $200. For more information, contact Karen Gordon at (415) 449-1256 or [email protected], or go to www.jfcs.org.
