The S.F.-based Jewish Community Relations Council has organized a day of service June 17 with the St. Anthony’s Foundation. The volunteer event is tailor-made for the Jewish community.

Volunteers will begin their day with a discussion about St. Anthony’s advocacy efforts on behalf of the city’s homeless and poor, after which they will provide hands-on service to St. Anthony’s clients.

For 60 years, St. Anthony’s Foundation has responded to the needs of poor and low-income San Franciscans, providing food, clothing, health care and case management.
