Jewish Family and Children’s Services of the East Bay is preparing to hold the Art of Living 2010, its fourth annual fundraising gala. The event takes place 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 10 at the Oakland Museum of California.

The event annually constitutes the agency’s biggest night. This year, the guests of honor are Pixar Animation Studios producer Galyn Susman and animator Andrew Gordon, both major supporters of JFCS. Also being honored will be Every Child Counts: First 5 for Alameda County — a program that supports early childhood programs at JFCS.

Prizes being raffled include a private Pixar Animation Studios tour; a Perzina piano valued at $10,000; a wine package that includes a Napa Valley tour, tastings and wines from Hagafen Cellars; a luxury spa package at Berkeley’s Claremont Hotel; and an entertainment package with passes to the Contemporary Jewish Museum, the Berkeley Rep, SFMOMA and other venues. Tickets are $25 each or five for $100, and entrants not need to be present at the gala to win.

Tickets are $125, and $75 for people 35 and under. In addition, a 4 p.m. docent-led tour of the Pixar exhibit at the museum (limited to 20 people) is being offered for $40. For more information and tickets, visit go to www.jfcs-eastbay.org or call (510) 704-7475.
