Noting that “we don’t stop being sexual just because we get older,” the Suse Moyal Center for Older Adult Services in Berkeley is offering what it is billing as “a lively, informative workshop all about sex and aging.”

The two-hour workshop, titled “Sex Never Gets Old,” will address changes that take place in our bodies as we age, and how these might affect sexuality. Topics to be covered include: what happens to your sexuality if you lose your partner; how older couples can reinvigorate their sex life; and coping with disability and sex.

The event’s leader will be Namonyah Soipan, a shaman-psychologist and CEO of the Center for Sacred Dialogue.

The workshop is scheduled for 4 p.m. Feb. 28 at the Suse Moyal Center, which is run by Jewish Family and Children’s Services of the East Bay. It is located at 2484 Shattuck Ave., Suite 210, Berkeley. The workshop is free, but space is limited and advance registration is required. To register, contact Lisa Yordy at (510) 558-7800 ext. 716 or [email protected].
