New Lehrhaus and JIMENA present an online talk by professor Sarah Abrevaya Stein about how Yiddish-speaking and Sephardic Jews from the 1880s through World War I led the global craze for ostrich and exotic bird feathers, filling various roles in the trade from Russia to South Africa to the Sahara to New York City.
