“Breads of the Jews”

BishulimSF chef Aliza Grayevsky Somekh discusses the many breads associated with Jewish culture, such as matzah, challah, bagels, rye, pumpernickel and pita. With cooking demo using a taboon, a clay oven historically used by Palestinians. Part of New Lehrhaus’ “Soil to Soul: Agriculture and Jewish Culture” series. Livestream option; limited in-person attendance. Registration required.
