“Community Security: Making Smart Choices in Bad Situations”

S.F.-based Jewish Community Federation presents a program on handling interactions with an unknown person at an event, countering an active threat and making good decisions under stress. With security/safety experts, including the man who trained the Colleyville, Texas rabbi. Each two-hour course is identical. 11:30 a.m. May 15 at Peninsula Sinai (Foster City); 5 p.m. May 15 at Beth Sholom (San Francisco); 7 p.m. May 16 at Ner Shalom (Cotati); 7 p.m. May 17 at Beth Chaim (Danville); 7 p.m. May 18 at Oshman Family JCC (Palo Alto); 7 p.m. May 19 at Beth El (Berkeley). Registration required.
