Daniel Levy, associate professor at Reichman University’s Baruch Ivcher School of Psychology, delivers the annual Robbins Lecture in Jewish Law, Thought, and Identity. He discusses how judicial punishment is portrayed in Biblical and Talmudic literature and understood by evolutionary psychology and what new forms of punishment might be most effective today.
