Preschool will move to San Mateo in Sept.

The Peninsula Jewish Community Center is moving its K'ton Ton All Day Child Development Center from 2440 Carlmont Drive, Belmont to 525 W. 42nd Ave., San Mateo, the site of the North Peninsula Jewish Community Day School, by Sept. 3.

The year-round preschool program will offer music and motor development programs for children ages 2 years-9 months through 5 years. For information, call (415) 591-4438.

Maccabi participants get help from Koret

The S.F.-based Koret Foundation recently awarded $12,500 to the Albert L. Schultz Jewish Community Center in Palo Alto.

The grant will provide scholarship assistance to 90 Jewish teens attending the JCC Maccabi Youth Games Aug. 11 to 16 in St. Louis. Nearly 3,000 Jewish teens from 40 states and 18 countries will participate.
