Holy Day list available free

Jewish Community Information and Referral, a free resource center on Jewish life in the Bay Area, has compiled a comprehensive listing of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur religious services open to Jews who are not members of a congregation. The details, along with other holiday-related material, is available by calling JCI&R at (415) 777-4545.

In this week's Jewish Bulletin, the listings appear on pages 54-55.

In addition, JCI&R has simple written sukkah-building instructions available to anyone wishing to celebrate Sukkot, the harvest festival, at home.

A service of the San Francisco-based Jewish Community Federation, JCI&R is staffed weekdays by volunteers. Besides holiday help, the agency can provide information about available services and programs for Jews in the Bay Area and beyond.
