On Oct. 28, Dean Robert Gregg of Stanford Memorial Church will speak on “`Religious’ vs. `Spiritual:’ What Does This Distinction Mean Today?”On Nov. 4, Lee S. Shulman, Charles E. Ducommun professor of education at Stanford, will address “The Emergence of Learning and Teaching Communities.”

On Nov. 11, Carol Redmount, assistant professor of Egyptology at U.C. Berkeley will talk on “An Egyptologist’s View of the Exodus.”

Cost for the series is $60 for nonmembers, $45 for adult members, $40 for seniors 65 and over, $15 for emigres or students. Singles sessions are $12. The forum is co-sponsored by Lehrhaus Judaica.

In addition, Patti Moskovitz will offer an introductory class on Judaism, at 7:30 p.m. beginning Monday, Oct. 7. Cost is $70.

A conversational Hebrew class begins at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 and continue through Jan. 30. Cost is $60. Registration is due Monday, Sept. 30.
