Sara Netanyahu topic of tell-all

JERUSALEM — Sara Netanyahu, wife of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is the subject of a planned "tell-all" book by her first husband.

According to Israel's Channel Two television, a photo of Sara Netanyahu looking at a classified document prompted ex-husband Doron Neuberger to act.

Neuberger said he was shocked that his ex-wife is privy to matters of national security and felt it his duty to write the book.

The premier's attorney rejected Neuberger's claim, saying that in the particular photo, Netanyahu was reviewing a personal itinerary.

Neuberger said the Netanyahus offered him money to destroy the draft. The Netanyahus say Neuberger demanded $1 million dollars to shut up, the Israeli daily Yediot Achronot reported.

Neuberger and Sara divorced in 1987, after being married for seven years, and living together for two. They did not have any children.

Neuberger, 37, now lives on a kibbutz and has two children with his current companion. Sara Netanyahu is the prime minister's third wife. They have two children.

Three months ago the Netanyahus' ex-nanny told the tabloids that Sara fired her for burning soup. Sara Netanyahu was described as controlling, verbally abusive and neurotically clean.
