The events represent Berenbaum’s first speaking engagements since taking over as head of the Shoah Visual History Foundation. He previously served as director of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and was an adjunct professor of theology at Georgetown University. He is also the author of nine books, including his recent work, “The World Must Know.”
His San Francisco lecture is sponsored by the Emanuel Gelbart Memorial Fund to Combat Holocaust Denial of the Holocaust Center of Northern California, in conjunction with the synagogue and the Jewish studies department of San Francisco State University.
