Tickets are $15 for the program, or $30 for the program and luncheon buffet reception, which starts at 11:30 a.m. Proceeds of the event will benefit various Northern California workers’ groups.

Salon group to begin
“What Rules Do You Live By?/What is Important to You?” will open a new salon/discussion group at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18 at Berkeley Richmond Jewish Community Center, 1414 Walnut St., Berkeley.
The group will meet the first and third Tuesday of each month. Robert Berend, who has been involved with similar groups in Los Angeles and Palo Alto, will host.
“The idea is to develop a sense of friendship, community and interesting conversation, which is often very hard to come by in our Dilbert-esque working lives,” Berend said.
