Yad B'Yad ("Hand in Hand") plans to send volunteers to Israel to teach conversational English to Russian and Ethiopian immigrants in two summer sessions: June 29 to July 15, and July 13 to 29. Training will be provided for participants ages 24 to 68, who do not need to speak Russian or Hebrew. Teachers are needed in Jerusalem, Beit Shemesh, Tel Aviv, Ashkelon, Raanana/Kfar Saba, Haifa, Tiberias and Kiryat Shmona. They will teach three hours per day, five evenings per week.
