Fund-raiser at BRJCC Berkeley Richmond Jewish Community Center's annual auction and party titled "City Lights" will take place at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 10 at 1414 Walnut St., Berkeley. In an effort to raise $25,000 to support center services, the event will feature food from several restaurants and delis, live music by Cathi Walkup's Swing Thing, handwriting analysis by Sally Griffiths, plus balloons and auction items such as dates with local celebrities. Nehama Leibowitz memorial service set A memorial for Nehama Leibowitz will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 1 at Congregation Beth Israel, 1630 Bancroft Way, Berkeley.
