Lichtenstein works appearing at art museum

Prints by Jewish artist Roy Lichtenstein will be on display May 31 through Sept. 14 at California Palace of the Legion of Honor in San Francisco's Lincoln Park.

The exhibit will include Lichtenstein's Art Deco-style lithograph and screen print "Peace Through Chemistry II, 1970" as well as four prints in his "Cathedrals" series and six prints each from the "Bull Profile" and the "Surrealist" series.

The museum, at 34th Avenue and Clement Street, is open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays. For information, call (415) 863-3330.
