Doors will open at 6 p.m. Show will start at 7:15 p.m. Beer, wine, sandwiches and salads will be available for purchase, or singles may bring their own picnics.
Dancing to the Latin music of Claudia Villela, Brazilian-born vocalist, will follow the Coles talk. Cost for singles is $15.
Those registered in 1+1 Singles also will receive a monthly newsletter, CenterStageSingles, with information about upcoming events.
Planned activities for the fall will include hiking, bicycle riding and more CenterStage receptions.
There is no age limit. “If you don’t meet anybody your age,” said Sherman, “you’ll meet somebody for your single mother.”
