On March 2, Laurie Zoloth-Dorfman, director of the program in Jewish studies at San Francisco State University, will speak on "Clinical Ethics: Decision Making at the Bedside." March 9, Rabbi Yoel Kahn, executive director of Stanford Hillel, will address "Rational Suicide: On Choosing the Hour of Our Death." Dr. Toby Gottfried, director of research at Calypte Biomedical in Berkeley will speak on "The Impact of Genetic Engineering" March 16. And on March 23, Rabbi Evan Goodman, associate rabbi at Peninsula Temple Beth El in San Mateo, will speak on "Where Does Life Begin? Jewish Ethics and Fetal Viability."
