JFCS offers aid to grieving Jewish Family & Children's Services' Bereavement Center continues a full range of grief counseling services, including non-denominational bereavement workshops for adults, therapy, consultation and education. All sessions are provided by professional grief counselors. Workshops are small groups focused on the commonalities of grief, bereavement and the loss of specific family relationships. Workshops include: "Spiritual Support Group with Ruach Ami" from 4 to 5:30 p.m. for six Thursdays starting May 28. The fee is $125. "Loss of an adult child" from 10:30 a.m. to noon for eight Thursdays starting June 11. The fee is $100. "A Service of Healing and Memory with Ruach Ami" from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 27. Family Bereavement Camp at Camp Tawonga in Yosemite, May 15 to 17. Non-refundable deposits are required with some subsidies available in special circumstances.
