Interfaith group gets a new name

"I am very excited about our new name," said Carrie Condran LaBriola, executive director of NCCJ's Northern California region. "It will help our community better understand the breadth of NCCJ's mission and the work that we do here. In the Bay Area, we bring diverse people together and help them to live and work more fully in a diverse society."

The New York-based NCCJ was founded to fight bias, bigotry and racism.

Today, it sponsors school and extracurricular programs for conflict resolution, advocacy and cross-cultural education.
