All Lunch & Learn events provide kosher meals through the Kosher Nutrition Program, sponsored by the San Francisco Commission on Aging. The recommended lunch donation for adults 60 and over is $1.25.
Cost for the lecture is $1.50 for center members, $5 for non-members.
Montefiore Senior Center also plans three summer day-trips by van. The first one will be a tour of Filoli house and gardens on the Peninsula from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. Cost is $8 for members, $16 for non-members.
The second is a Muir Woods walk and lunch at the Pelican Inn in Marin from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6. Cost is $15 for members, $30 for non-members.
The third is “Sausalito for a Dime,” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26. Cost for the trip is 10 cents.
