JCC presents golf tourney

Sign up for Weekday J and get the latest on what's happening in the Jewish Bay Area.

The Sunday, Oct. 25 tournament at San Francisco's Lincoln Golf Course will be played in scramble format with no handicap required. Youths, ages 8 to 16, will pair up with an adult. Partners will be provided for those who require them (family relationships are not required). A donation of $75 to the JCC of S.F. will include play, use of a cart and lunch.

A kiddush cup with the winner's name on it will be installed in the JCC lobby as a permanent trophy.

All participants will receive mementos, and awards will be given for first-, second-, and third-places in team competition, closest to the pin, longest drive on one hole, straightest drive and hole-in-one.

Detailed assignments and tee times will be released today. For information, call Craig Salgado at (415) 292-1242.
