Panel to explore medical ethics Facebook Twitter Email SMS WhatsApp Share By J. Correspondent | October 16, 1998 Part two will discuss the "how tos" of medical directives and ethical wills. Since biblical times, Jews have prepared ethical wills for their children and grandchildren. Ethical wills cover everything from directives on how to live one's life to general advice about life. Often they can be documents that bring comfort and solace to the bereaved. Using Rabbi Richard Address' book "A Time to Prepare," a panel will discuss the history and preparation of an ethical will. The seminars are free and open to the public. They will meet at Temple Sinai, 2808 Summit Street, Oakland at 7:15 p.m. No advance registration is necessary. For information, call (510) 451-3263. J.
