Faith and interfaith topics of new classes Cantor David Unterman will teach a six-week course on "Comparing the Faiths" beginning at 7 p.m. Monday at Albert L. Schultz Jewish Community Center, 655 Arastradero Road, Palo Alto. The course will survey the world's major religions. Cost is $45 for members of South Peninsula Learning Consortium, $60 for non-members. An interfaith couples workshop, taught by Lisa Sinizer, will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday and continue through Dec. 3. Cost is $50 for singles and $80 for couples who are members of the South Peninsula Learning Consortium; $60 for singles and $100 for couples who are non-members. Yiddish Choristers under the direction of Lottie Solomon will begin meeting at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, continuing through Dec. 23. Members do not have to know how to read music to join the group.
