A: Ruach Ami: Bay Area Jewish Healing Center has a chaplaincy program that provides spiritual support to Jewish elderly residing in local nursing homes. They also train lay volunteers who visit Jewish residents on a regular basis. Jewish Family and Children’s Services also has volunteers providing mitzvah care to isolated Jewish elderly.
