Pop rock service comes to Oakland

Craig Taubman’s pop rock Shabbat service, “Friday Night Live,” will make its Bay Area debut at 8:15 p.m. today at Temple Sinai, 2808 Summit St., Oakland.

Cantor Ilene Keys will lead the Temple Sinai Volunteer Choir. Joining in will be the horns, drums, woodwinds and keyboard of the Joel Abramson Simcha Band. For information, call (510) 451-3263.
