Greater San Francisco B'nai B'rith unit No. 21 and San Francisco Humanities Inc. are sponsoring a Holocaust Memorial Day. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, April 22 at the Holocaust Memorial in Lincoln Park adjacent to the Museum of the Palace of the Legion of Honor in San Francisco. The Shoah commemoration will include names of victims read by survivors and other attendees, candlelighting ritual, songs, the recitation of Kaddish and the El Maleh Rachamim prayer, and brief messages from civic leaders and survivors.
