More than 25 speakers from around the nation are confirmed They include Stanford Professor Joel Beinen, U.C. Berkeley Professor Hatem Bazian and Phyllis Bennis, director of the Washington, D.C.-based Middle East Project at the Institute for Policy Studies.
U.C. Berkeley Hillel students plan “parallel programming” during the three-day event and have established a pledge drive to fund Arab-Israeli coexistence projects, support terrorism victims and push for minority and women’s rights.
