*The FAA banned all syringes after Sept. 11 but recently rescinded the ban. But you will need some documentation to prove that you medically need them.

*If you have a pacemaker, or have had any surgery that included inserting metal plates, bring some certification stating so.

*Security will allow people to escort seniors beyond checkpoints, but a gate pass will be required. If you are escorting a senior to the gate, you need to get a gate pass at the ticket counter.

*It’s always a good idea to pack an unopened bottle of water in case of long delays.

*If you’re traveling in a wheelchair or have other medical needs, always confirm with the airline that it has a record of your request 48 hours prior to departure. If you have any difficulty in walking long distances, request a wheelchair and a skycap.
