“It helped me to see that you have to respond and respect and let it go. I was able to put myself in her situation and tell her that I’m not going to interfere anymore,” Morris said.
Morris said that the nine women and one man in the workshop bonded and have made an effort to stay in touch.
“As it progressed, we all were getting stronger. Maureen Samson [JFCS licensed clinical social worker] was incredible at facilitating us and keeping us focused. We all did very well,” Morris said.
