Correspondent | December 5, 2003 Aviram Meir Germanovitch, an AIDS activist from Israel, came to San Francisco to mark World AIDS Day at Congregation Sha’ar Zahav on Monday, Dec. 1. Germanovitch, who is HIV positive, is involved in promoting HIV/AIDS awareness in Israel through media, school workshops, campaigns for the Israel AIDS Task Force and meetings with government officials.
