Correspondent | December 22, 2003 Debra Sagan and Oren Massey were married Oct. 12 at Congregation Beth Am in Los Altos Hills. Rabbi Richard A. Block of The Temple Tifereth Israel in Beechwood, Ohio, and formerly of Congregation Beth Am, officiated. The bride received a bachelor’s degree in history from U.C. San Diego and a joint master’s in Jewish education and Jewish communal service from Hebrew Union College. She is the daughter of Marian Sagan of Los Altos Hills and the late William Sagan, and the sister of Kathryn (and Patrick) Lane of Palo Alto. Grandparents are the late Ruth and Arthur Hill and Molly and Nathan Sagan. The groom attended Bar-Ilan University in Tel Aviv, focusing on land of Israel studies before earning a master’s in nonprofit organizations from the Mandel School at Case Western Reserve University. He is the son of Honey Massey of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and Corky Massey of San Anselmo, and the brother of Ilona Massey and Rivkah Massey, both of Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Grandparents are Thelma Massey of Marysville, Kan., and the late Violet and Zoltan Saunt. Matron of honor was Kathryn Lane. Best man was Patrick Layne. The newlyweds are living in Cleveland Heights.
