The line-up for this year’s “Rx: Laughter” just got longer and funnier. Comedians Steve Middleman and Mark Pitta will join Wendy Liebman, Will Durst, Joe Klocek and Rene Hicks in benefiting the Auxiliary of the UCSF Medical Center at Mt. Zion on Saturday, Jan. 24.
Middleman is a nationally known comic who has made numerous appearances on “The Tonight Show,” “Late Night with David Letterman,” Showtime, HBO and Comedy Central. He was the winner of the New York Bigg Laff Off on Showtime and has headlined hundreds of clubs, colleges, corporate and Jewish events.
Mark Pitta is a hometown favorite, having spent the last four years co-hosting KTVU’s “Mornings on 2.” He also hosted TV’s “Totally Hidden Video” for two seasons, and has appeared on the comedy club circuit throughout the West Coast. Pitta lives in Mill Valley.
