Born in Hamburg, Germany. Emigrated from England to the United States. Lost his eyesight in childhood. Longtime employee in the X-ray department at San Francisco General Hospital. Sister of the late Dorothy Marker, Mollie Abrambson, Sylvia Wax and Irwin, Maurice and Jerome Bachrach. Moved to San Francisco, where she met her husband, from her childhood home of St. Paul, Minn. Daly City resident for many years. Grandmother of Eden Gallanter. Born March 27, 1913 in Maarmorsh, Hungary. Left Hungary with her mother in 1921 to be reunited with her father. Raised in Wooster, Ohio.
