Lisa Ellen Yamner of Washington, D.C., daughter of Gail and Morris Yamner of Clifton, N.J., and Adam Kendall Green of Washington, D.C., son of Donna and Dr. James Green of Orinda, have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be received a bachelor’s degree in history and Spanish from Middlebury College, where she graduated with honors and was a member of the National Hispanic Honors Society. An advertising coordinator for National Journal Group, Inc., she is the sister of Amy Yamner of San Francisco and Laura Yamner of New York. Grandparents are Bessie and Julius Garber of Batesburg, S.C.

Her fiancé received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Middlebury College, where he graduated with honors. An MBA candidate at Georgetown University, he is the brother of Shana Green of Breckenridge, Colo.

The couple formerly lived in San Francisco, where Lisa was merchandising coordinator at Red Envelope and Adam was senior director at Score Educational Center.

A May 29 wedding in Napa is planned.
