Gabriella Emod and Adam Tabak were married Dec. 7 in Budapest, Hungary. The celebration continued with a March 28 reception at the Crown Plaza Hotel in San Francisco.

The bride is a muralist. She is the daughter of Eva and Janos Emod of Budapest and the sister of David Emod. Grandparents are Ilona Lanyi and the late Andreas Lanyi and Mariann Emod and the late Laszlo Emod.

The groom is a certified public accountant. He is the son of Genie and Tom Tabak of San Francisco, the brother of Shawn Tabak and Maxine (and Clive) Nisse, and the uncle of Nadine and Abigail Nisse.

Maid of honor was Anita Joo. Best man was Shawn Tabak. Bridesmaids were Maxine Nisse, Agnes Sebestyen and Kristina Veszely. Groomsmen were Darryn Barber, David Emod, Alex Fishman, Clive Nisse, Shawn Silk and Tony Tiscornia. Flower girl was Nadine Nisse.

After a honeymoon in Kauai, Hawaii, the newlyweds are living in Sausalito.

Courtney Lynne Schatz and Dan Michael Wasserman were married Dec. 27 at the Claremont Resort and Spa in Berkeley. Rabbi Roberto Graetz of Temple Isaiah officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Beverly Schatz of San Francisco and Richard Schatz of Martinez and Reno. She is the sister of Michael Schatz of Washington, D.C. Grandparents are the late Resi and Alvin Unger and the late Betty and Milton Schatz.

The groom is the son of Jan and Marc Wasserman of Piedmont. He is the brother of David (and Kimberly) Wasserman and the uncle of Isaac and Gabriel Wasserman, all of Madison, Wisc. Grandparents are Frieda Sidorsky of Walnut Creek, the late Manny Sidorsky and the late Helen and Leo Wasserman.

Courtney and Dan met on a blind date after mutual family friends Jerry and Jerilyn Feitelberg of Alameda set them up. The newlyweds are living in Alameda.
