Shannon Elizabeth Stein, daughter of Donna and Ron Stein of Stockton, and Shaul Aaron Nassi, son of Dr. MenaEm and Jean Nassi of Palo Alto, have announced their engagement.

The bride-to-be received a bachelor’s degree in political science from U.C. San Diego, a master’s degree from Brandeis University and a juris doctor from Michigan State College of Law. She is an associate attorney practicing family law at Hammer and Jacobs in San Jose. She is the granddaughter of the late Mildred and William Abrams and the late Dorthay and Sam Stein.

Her fiancé received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from UCLA and is completing his master’s degree in electrical engineering at San Jose State. He is the brother of Jo-Jo Nassi of San Diego. Grandparents are Alegra Nassi of Caracas, Venezuela, the late Saul Nassi and the late Esther and Mitchell Magidow.

An October wedding in Stockton is planned.
