Correspondent | July 9, 2004 The 24th annual San Francisco Jewish Film Festival runs July 22 to 29 at the Castro Theater, 429 Castro St., S.F.; July 31 to Aug. 5 at Wheeler Auditorium, U.C. Berkeley campus; Aug. 1 to 5 at Mountain View Century Cinema 16, 1500 N. Shoreline Blvd., Mountain View; and Aug. 7 to 9 at Christopher B. Smith Rafael Film Center, 1118 Fourth St., San Rafael. For tickets or a program, call the film festival at (925) 275-9490, or visit the Web site, www.sfjff.org. For daily program information, call the Castro at (415) 621-6120, Mountain View Cinema at (650) 960-0970, and the Rafael Film Center at (415) 454-1222. Wheeler does not have a direct line. In San Francisco, parking is available on 18th Street between Castro and Collingwood streets, and on Castro Street between 17th and 18th streets. There are no parking-meter charges after 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and all day on Sundays. Public transportation in San Francisco: Muni Lines 24, 35 and 37 and streetcars K, L and M. In Berkeley, public parking lots are on Dana Street near Bancroft Way, Dana Avenue between Telegraph Avenue and Dana Street, Bancroft Way between College Avenue and Bowditch Street, Bancroft Way near Telegraph Avenue and Bancroft Way at Ellisworth Street. Public transportation in Berkeley: AC Transit lines 7, 40, 51, 52 and 64 and the Berkeley BART station. For Mountain View, from Highway 101, exit Shoreline Boulevard, turn left onto North Shoreline Boulevard and then take a left onto Movies Road. For San Rafael, from Highway 101, exit Central San Rafael, go west on Fourth Street; the theater is between A and B streets. Public transportation in San Rafael: 1, 23, 25, 26, 32, 34, 60, 65, 70, 80 or 90 to San Rafael Transit at Third and Heatherton. The theater is five blocks west and one block north.
