Lauren Anne Rothman and Jason Harris Gerbsman were married June 5 in Key Biscayne, Fla. Rabbi Martin Weiner of San Francisco officiated.

The bride graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Colby College. She is an image and branding consultant. She is the daughter of Sandra and Max Rothman of Key Biscayne, Fla.

The groom received a bachelor’s degree in international studies from Colby College and recently completed his first year in the MBA program at the Robert Emmet McDonough School of Business, Georgetown University. He is interning at Bear Stearns in New York. The groom is the son of Marlene and Steven Gerbsman of Kentfield.  

Prior to attending Georgetown University, the groom completed his military service in the Israel Defense Forces. He is airborne qualified and served 18 months as a Naval Security Commander in the Gaza Strip.

The couple will return to Washington, D.C., in August, where the groom will complete his final year at Georgetown.
