The bride is a licensed clinical social worker and Jewish educator. She is the daughter of Beverly K. Schonbrunn of Los Angeles and Murray J. Blank of Los Angeles. She is the sister of Steve Blank of Los Angeles. The groom is a software engineer. He is the son of Roslyn Epstein of San Mateo and the late Cantor Herbert I. Epstein. He is the brother of Jonathan Epstein of San Mateo. Maid of honor was Nancy Hodgkins. Bridesmaids were Jackie Ajemian, Debbie Chariton, Jean Negeloff and Susannah Sallin-Scherer. Best man was Jonathan Epstein. Groomsmen were Steve Blank, Bruce Levy, Scott Postel and Ron Zucker. Ushers were Jay Carlson, Jimmy Lee, Mike Prozan and Harold Shinsato.
