The Half Moon Bay judo black belt fell by the smallest of margins in a judge’s decision to Germany’s Raffaella Imbriani in the women’s 52 kg division. When Imbriani lost to eventual gold-medalist Dongmei Xian of China, Minkin lost her chance to advance to consolation rounds and compete for the bronze medal.
