Goldman, Lillian K. In Phoenix, Aug. 28. Age 97. Wife of the late Max Goldman. Mother of Carole (and Mark) Friedlander of San Rafael, Robert (and Ellen) Goldman of Greenbrae and the late R. Martin Gould. Grandmother of Susan (and Adam) Wegner of Bethesda, Md.; Eric (and Heather) Friedlander of Newport Beach; and Brent Goldman, Beth (and Brian) Tabackman and Jason Goldman of New York City. Great-grandmother of Aron and Holden Wegner. Sister to the late Jane Gabriel and Emma Kanter. Aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Cared for by Blancs D’Maltez Awwad. Born in Syracuse, N.Y. Lived in Auburn, N.Y., for 71 years and San Rafael for 26 years. Services were held at Congregation Rodef Sholom. Burial will be at the family plot in Auburn, N.Y. Mandl, Mae. In Danville, Aug. 21. Age 97. Wife of the late Felix Mendelson and Max Mandl. Sister of the late Morris, Anni and Hilde Bershtel. Native of Germany. Attained citizenship in 1944. Head of the accounting department at Jewish Family and Children’s Services, S.F., for 33 years. Volunteered her accounting services for local agencies. Certified Braille transcriber. Member of Congregation Beth Israel-Judea, S.F. Memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 5, at Temple Beth Israel-Judea. Arrangements by Sinai Memorial Chapel in Lafayette. Savin, Muriel. In Richmond, Aug. 29. Age 95. Wife of the late Reuben Savin. Daughter of the late Lena Clar Fass and Max Fass. Mother of Gene Savin. Sister of Edith Kurtz and the late Juell Fass. Sister-in-law of Ann Crosby and Rosalie Fass. Mother-in-law of Susan Enzle. Aunt of Leanne Kurtz, Leah Sudran, Carolyn Fass, Kenny Fass, Ira Kurtz, Marcia Savin. Great-aunt and relative to many. Longtime Richmond resident. Widely exhibited artist and craftswoman. Service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5, at Temple Beth Hillel, 801 Park Central, Richmond.
