Shira Liat Sheppard A daughter born May 21 to Riki Alcheck and Bill Sheppard of Sunnyvale. Grandparents are Sandi and Ken Bretz of Cupertino, Elie and Yael Alcheck of Los Altos and Muriel and Ed Sheppard of Des Moines, Iowa. Great-grandparents are Rita and Lou Silber of San Jose.
