Haas, Mark Homer In San Francisco, Sept. 11, of cancer. Age 81. Husband of Shoko Haas. Brother-in-law of Robert Jacobs. Uncle of JoAnn and Daniel Jacobs. An electronic mechanic and federal employee, worked in Hunters Point shipyard for more than 40 years. Served in Air Force as a bomber-crewmember in Europe during World War II. Member of Congregation Emanu-El, where memorial services were held. Also participated at Congregation Beth Israel- Judea. Lieberman, Ann Bercovich In Lafayette. Sept. 28. Age 87. Wife of the late Jess Lieberman for 58 years. A native of San Francisco. Mother of JoAnn Lieberman (and Charlie Wolff) of Lafayette, Bruce Lerner (and Patti Bengtson) of Reno and Marc Lieberman of Sequoia. Sister of Helen (and Jerry) Lustig of Foster City and the late Libby Singer. Grandmother of Matthew, Jeremy and David Wolff. Numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Memorial services were held at Temple Isaiah in Lafayette, with arrangements by Sinai Memorial Chapel. Miller, E. Kenneth In Kyoto, Japan, Sept. 25. At age 75. Husband of Arlene F. Miller. Father of Mark Miller, Peter (and Belinda) Miller, Diana Miller (and David Sauerhaft). Grandfather of Bryan and Evan Miller, Julia and Sam Sauerhaft. Stepfather of Michael Lazarus, Ellyn Lazarus (and Ken Hausman), Ed (and Diane) Lazarus. Step-grandfather of Jason, Gabriel and Asher Lazarus. Lifelong San Franciscan, graduate of Washington High School, former owner of The Lincoln Market on Clement Street and Land, Sea & Air Travel. Services were held at Hills of Eternity Memorial Park, Colma, with arrangements by Sinai Memorial Chapel.
